I love Heidi’s citrus salt how-to on 101 Cookbooks. The recipe is so simple and leaves a lot of room for creativity. Plus, I think that the salts look so beautiful and delicate when mixed with the subtle colors of the various citrus zests.
Aside from the beauty of the recipe itself, I never considered how many pretty options there are for showcasing salts and other spices. I love Heidi’s collection of vintage-looking salt shakers and jars. I think a small jar of flavored finishing salts would make a great hostess gift or just a pretty accent for the dinner table. So beautiful!
